Word 2003 Essentials

Do you need to create basic documents such as letters, faxes and memos, apply basic formatting changes to the look of the text? Understand basic word processing tasks such as creating, saving, editing, viewing and printing a document?

Course Content:

  • Understand the Word 2003 environment
  • Create and edit a document
  • Save, retrieve and maintain files on disk
  • Understand the functionality of various screen components
  • Change screen views to suit each task
  • Edit, Copy, Cut and Paste text
  • Enhance a document using character and paragraph formatting
  • Use the Spell Check, Thesaurus and Online Help
  • Use the Thesaurus to find synonyms or antonyms

Pre-requisites:

No pre-requisites and familiarity with the Windows environment as well as experience with the keyboard / mouse is desirable.

Minimum Numbers: 6
